UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

The Roman aqueduct and Gothic cathedral were more than enough to ensure the city’s status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

THE ALCÁZAR

The Alcázar began life as a Roman fort, before eventually becoming one of Spain’s most distinctive and breath-taking castles. Today it’s open to the public for visits, so you can discover what life was like as a monarch in the Middle Ages.
